If I was to sell a shirt with SpongeBob on it, but the name and some additions are added to the design is it illegal? I’m making some merch for someone and we want to use Freakbob and Geekbob which are variations of SpongeBob that don’t have any thing to do with the creators of SpongeBob. Could we sell the shirts with this on it or would that be copyright of SpongeBob?
