Do you guys think this tripod mount on the adapter will hold 3 Ibs? I have a Nikkor 80-200 f4.5 which has a diameter of around 2.4 inches on the silver ring area. I couldn't find a lens collar of that size, so I'm looking into adapers with a tripod mount. The problem is that the lens and camera combined weighs 3 Ibs. The mount looks a bit thin and I can't test it directly. It's attached to the adapter by 2 small...
