How does F number translate between APS-C and full frame?
How does F number translate between APS-C and full frame? I’m having difficulty understanding the idea of the “full-frame look”. I get that if you have a 50mm lens on an APS-C camera, it’s equivalent to 75mm on a full-frame camera just because it would have to be cropped on the full-frame since the lens physically wouldn’t shine light on the whole sensor.
