Initially posted in composition/posing. After reading your suggestions, is this a bit better? Here it is without the pole and I tried to bring out his eyes more. And fine, apparently it doesn’t count as a portrait 🙄 but thanks for enlightening me on the fact there is indeed a difference between that and a snapshot. B&W might be good but when I do it, it darkens his eyes again. *I guess I should have specified that I was just taking a ph...
