Most beautiful (modern) song ever? What is the most beautiful piece of music you’ve ever heard from the last 30 years or so? My nominee is “Friend Of The Night” by Mogwai. Absolutely breathtaking layers, and the chorus brings a tear to my eye every time. Go for a drive at night, when the streetlights are fully aglow, and put this song on.
