When do you pay a security deposit with a rental condo? I have a real estate agent helping me to find a rental condo . I found one I like and they told me the HOA board takes 2 weeks to approve . In the mean time they say I have to pay a security deposit to the owner/landlord for the lease. Is this the correct way to do things with condos? Or can I do lease and only pay once I see if the board approv...
