Comparing reward points and cashback: which one offers higher? I have BofA credit card that gets me 3% on dining and 2% cashback on groceries (with an option to switch 3% with any category each month) And I also have an AMEX Gold that gets me 4x on global restaurants, US supermarkets, 3x on travel, etc. If we compare 4x groceries and dining, I am wondering how do reward points fare against the cashback?
