So as long as you have 3x your salary at 40 you're essentially set for an average retirement at 65? *with all of that money being in the s&p 500 With 12x your salary being the standard, your 3x will be 18x your salary in 25 years. You don't need to put in another penny in order to do this. Am I calculating this correctly?
