Is there a specific band or artist genre you feel weird listening to because a person who liked them ruined it for you? And how did you get over it? So as the title says has this happened to anyone? A personal example for me would be that I had this ex-friend who gatekeeped Cavetown to the point where none of us were allowed to listen to it, and even now even though I think Cavetown is great I have problems trying to put on songs by Cavetown because of the lingering mentality.
