What do I do with my 401k after becoming a contractor? Title says it all. I’m leaving my W-2 job and will become a 1099 contractor. What do I do with my 401k? This is a first for me, and I have no personal contacts that have been helpful. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Don’t be afraid to break it down to me like you’re explaining finances to a fourth grader.
