Why are deluxe albums nowadays released DAYS after the original? I’ve see a trend in the last <5 years where artists won’t even wait a whole week to drop a deluxe edition… in the age of streaming doesn’t that just make the original version you dropped literally 2 days ago kind of irrelevant? I thought deluxe editions were partly to extend the relevancy of an entire promotional “era”, they used to be up to 6 m...
