EOS 600D Focus Aid not working on manual lens? When using a lens in manual focus mode while holding the half shutter, the focus dots still beep when the object gets in focus. This makes it easy to nail manual focus in the viewfinder. I now have a full manual lens and was expecting the same behavior, but it doesn't work. What are the requirements for this to work?
