My trip didn’t feel like I was in another country I just got back from Italy. I’m from the US, and it was my second time outside of US/Canada. I am a bit disappointed that it didn’t feel… immersive? I guess that’s how I’d put it. My other trip was solo to Barcelona. I don’t speak Italian and didn’t learn even basic phrases, whereas I am conversational in Spanish, so I expected to feel more “out...
