LPT Stick a “Take Keys” poster on the doors that auto-lock. Don’t know if it works in the US. Where I stay, a lot of apartments have doors that lock themselves if closed. And if you are without the keys, you are locked out. Sticking a “Take Keys” poster works well (except for aesthetics). Silly but useful.
