Did I screw up with a traditional IRA? Hi A couple years ago I was panicking about investing on New years ever or a couple days prior to the New Year, and I just opened up a traditional IRA and dumped in 6k from my checking account. I did the same thing the next year. Later, I learned that traditional IRAs are made of pre tax contributions, and obviously I contributed post tax money....
