Tamron 600mm on a Nikon D810 (Full Frame) vs. a Nikon D5300 (Crop Sensor) - does the extra reach achieved by using a crop sensor provide a higher resolution image than cropping in on an image taken with the full frame to achieve the same result? I have a Tamron 150-600mm. I have a Nikon D810 (36.3 megapixel) and a Nikon D5300 (24.1 megapixel). The 600mm on the D5300 will appear to be a bit more 'zoomed in' because the image is cropped to the smaller sensor size. The question I have is whether there is a benefit to using the 5300 for the extra reach (does it provide a higher resolution...
