Does closing a credit card impact your credit score?
Does closing a credit card impact your credit score? I have a credit card that I have not used in over two years. As a result, the card company is planning to close my account. I'm okay with that, however I am also planning to buy a home this fall. My fear is that closing the account will drop my credit score. Should I keep my acccount open or should I let it close?
