Prime vs Zoom: How to choose between them at the same aperture? I'm looking at the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 vs the Sigma 24mm 1.4. The aperture isn't quite the same but it's close and serves my purpose at 1.8 as well. Would a fixed focal length have any benefits over the 18-35 which is a lot more versatile?
