International travel plan without home health insurance? I'm currently in between jobs and am taking some time off in between. I will be traveling internationally for ~2 weeks and want to buy health insurance for while I'm there. My question is do I need to have US health insurance to buy insurance abroad? I am currently on my fiance's plan which ends July 1 and I don't start work until July 15.
