Applied for a mortgage, bombarded by spam calls. The other day I applied for a new morrgage on a vacation/second home. Within minutes I’ve begun getting spam to the tune of 30+ calls/texts a day. I’ve applied for credit a number of times in the past without this happening. Is this because I used Bank of America for the first time , based on a referral from a peer?
