Make bokeh shapes more artistic? I’ve always found the idea of bokeh shapes (hearts, stars, etc) to be more interesting than most of the results. I love in-camera effects, and the ghostly nature of bokeh seems so close to something really interesting and beautiful, but I haven’t found any work that goes much beyond kind of gimmicky.
