When is it better to stop renting and just buy? Netting 6k a month combined. Currently have $30,000 saved up. Rent is $1,400 a month for a 1 bedroom. Is it better for us to continue renting and save more for a larger downpayment? Or should we bite the bullet, and purchase a home where we would have a very similar mortgage?
