Does anyone know the legality of using store bought ingredients (salt, herbs, etc.) for a food product to be sold?
Does anyone know the legality of using store bought ingredients (salt, herbs, etc.) for a food product to be sold? I'm working on a food product that will use small quantities of salt, so buying in bulk/wholesale isn't desirable. Can I just use store bought salt? Is this legal from the perspectives of both the salt manufacturer and FDA regulations?
