Is it my gear or am I just bad at figuring out if my subject is in focus? Images have the red line to hide my insta. I have a Nikon d3500 with the 18-55mm stock lens. I do car photography and it I am anywhere past about 5ft away the car gets into the line of in focus or out of focus.
