Is there a “correct” spot to place your watermark or logo in your photos? Where do you put yours?

Is there a "correct" spot to place your watermark or logo in your photos? Where do you put yours? In my photos I always put "©" in the bottom left corner. If there's lots of clutter or too much going on in the corner, I'll find a spot where it's easy to read, but also away from the subject. It's not big. I don't want to distract the viewer with a giant logo covering half the photo. I don't sell any of my photos (yet), so I'm not too...
