Retirement savings by age 50yo I was trying to find out how much I should have saved for retirement by age 50yo. All I could find was "3-6 times your salary". Am I misunderstanding what they mean by this - because this seems awfully low for that age. If someone made $50k/yr, they would only need $150k+ by age 50yo?
