Should my struggling dad sell his home or take out a reverse mortgage? My 73-year-old father is facing difficulty paying off his $45,000 mortgage and $15,000 HELOC. He is considering whether to sell his home (Florida so not really moving much) or take out a reverse mortgage. What should he do?
