Can I use a filter with a third-party adapter?
Can I use a filter with a third-party adapter? I've found a particular lens filter that I really like (it simulates a motion blur effect). Unfortunately, the smallest size the company sells is 67mm, and I only have a 49mm lens. If I get a third-party 49mm-67mm adapter, should that work – or are adapter rings proprietary? (or is the size difference too big to work?) Many thanks for any advice...
