Need to replace risers and treads on my staircase, should I use a stain that splits the difference between my floor and bannister? The floors at the top and bottom are light. I'd like to keep the bannister and newel post as they are in really good condition. Wall color is staying. I’m thinking of splitting the difference stain wise and white risers, but I’m an engineer, not a an interior designer The treads got hacked all up for the previous owner to throw a carpet on. Sugg...
