My long time GF says it's dumb to buy our own a house? Long story short she got into some finance course paid by her job and now she says it's not financially responsible to buy a new house, she says it's better to rent, citing how maintenance and taxes over time would be more expensive. Now, we don't live in the US so things my be a bit different here but I know taxes are not that bad in here, also...
