"Escrow Shortage" increases my mortgage by 60%. $1400 to $2200. Is this normal? Could there be an error? I just received notice from my bank that in September my mortgage will go from $1400 to over $2200 due to an "Escrow Shortage." I've owned this house for 2 years now, and it was is my first and only property.
