Watched the Pay Day Lending episode of Dirty Money. I don’t really understand why Scott Tucker went to jail? There are checks cashed and payday lending places all over the place. It’s totally legal and everyone knows they’re a total rip off. This guy didnt seem to do anything worse than anyone else in that business was, so why did he get jail time and lose over a billion dollars via restitution?
