Would You Move to a Less Desirable City Just for Affordable Homes? I'm struggling with a hard decision. I'm considering moving to the midwest, probably Milwaukee, WI or Cleveland, OH so I can actually find homes for 200K or less. I currently live in Charlotte, NC which has exploded in popularity. Median home price is like 450K going by Redfin. I make 65K currently and would probably top out at 80K in a few year...
