Grew up poor, never left my country and now the idea of travel freaks me out. What can I do to solve this? I'm 24 and finally have some money and PTO I can use at work. I want to be able to travel but after 24yrs of never doing it, it's now become a fear. It's quite ironic as well because I'm 2-3 months away from joining the fire brigade but getting on a plane and relaxing on a holiday scares me more than running into a burning building.
