Are there countries with nice weather where hotels are generally regarded as being “cheap” I’ve heard people mention things like “I stayed in a 5 star hotel in Thailand for a hundred bucks a night”. I recently went to Italy and hotel prices were insane to me - 400 Euros a night for the DoubleTree in Rome - yikes! Where are your favourite places to go with the cheapest nice hotels??
