Nikon D3100 still good in 2023? I’m shopping for a DSLR as a gift for my wife. She is a beginner who would sign up for a photography class and is interested in landscapes and portraits. I have access to a Nikon D3100 for free. Should I refurb the Nikon and spend my money on lenses + kit or is it better to go for a newer technology? She likes the look of the Olympus cameras. ...
