Statement island with checkerboard floors? Is it “too much”? DH is in love with the floor, I am in love with the stone…would doing both be too much to look at? He says checkerboard is a neutral and goes with everything. The stone is leathered granite and the floors are matte porcelain. Please don’t try to talk me out of the leathered granite lol.
