I have $30k cash that I don't need for a couple years. What's the best way to safely, and passively, make money off of it? My knowledge when it comes to personal finance is pretty basic. I was thinking of just putting it in a CD with a good rate. The current one I'm looking at is an 18 month CD term with Capital One, which has an APY of 5.25%, thus earning me $2,393. Any other suggestions?
