Lost my job - what should I do with mortgage & credit accounts? I lost my job on Tuesday 10/3 and was making $170K a year. I am hoping to get some recommendations on how to handle my mortgage & credit accounts. My wife and I are both on the mortgage which is $3,800K a month. Should I be looking to lower the payment & apply for hardship programs? Any other advice to help me out during the unemployment period ...
