Car dealership checked 3 places for me to get loans without asking even though I told them who I was getting a loan through, now the credit checks have hit my credit by about 25 points I got a car in March. I already had my bank lined up to get the loan, and between the places I already checked I had 4 checks on my credit already. I go to the dealership, tell them who I'm getting the loan through, and they say ok.
