Can you use your driver license as ID for order alcohol in the states? I travel to New York City for the first time from Toronto for the weekend. I have heard of some people only accepting passports which makes me nervous as I don’t want to lose it or have it stolen. I’d just be ordering a drink at a restaurant no clubs or pubs.
