LPT: If a pull tab breaks off a can, use a can opener to open it from the bottom Can openers don't usually work on the lids of cans that have a tab, but they do work on the bottom. If you opened the can a little before the tab broke off, just be sure to drain the can first or put it in a bowl before you turn the can upside down.
