Honest question: what does having a good credit score actually get you? I'm shopping for a new car and will finance around 50% part of it. Doing the online calculator to play with options (increase/decrease down payment, change length of loan, etc) and it asks for your credit score. I am 800+ so I selected that option and it did nothing to the payment. The payment didn't change until I toggled the option to 720 whic...
