United Airlines: Was rebooked twice for international trip - lost 5 days from our trip for which we had paid for accommodations (could not get refund). Had to book extra accommodations. What to expect for compensation? Long terrible travel story below. Initial schedule had us leaving Cleveland on 6/27, going through IAD and FRA, ultimately landing in ATH (Athens) 1 PM 6/28. Flight to IAD was cancelled due to weather. Earliest they could re-book us was 6/29. 2nd schedule had us leaving Cleveland on 6/29, going through EWR, ultimately landing in ATH 10 AM 6/30. ...
