Is this "high interest rate" time better to buy a home if I do it in cash? My parents keep telling me that this is a horrible time to buy and to stay away. However, due to a winfall, I will be buying in cash. I want to explain to them that this is actually a good time to buy because other buyers are scared away from the high cost of borrowing.
