Should I get a diffuser or an off-camera flash trigger and stand for outdoor portraits? A few days ago I did a test run with a bare flash on-camera. Half of the time, I end up with the deer-in-headlights effect. Do I buy a diffuser or get a trigger and stand? My priority is to have a simple setup, since I only have manual lenses.
