Worthwhile cities near Cancun, Mexico for a long weekend?
Worthwhile cities near Cancun, Mexico for a long weekend? My default airport has direct flights to Cancun for relatively cheap. We're not interested in staying in Cancun or some resort. Instead, thinking maybe a long weekend - Thursday to Sunday - in some nearby city in an Airbnb. Any recommendations? Merida? Valladolid? Something in driving distance with nice restaurants, walkable downtown, etc.
