Is there anywhere in western Europe that doesn't completely shut down the week between Christmas and New Years? Are my fears exaggerated? I get that week off of work, which is great for me to travel. It also turns out most europeans also get that week off of work, which is not great for me to travel. I've heard most grocery stores, restaurants, museums etc. are shut down for most of that week. Maybe opening for a couple of days on the 27th or 28th, but still mostly shut down. Has ...
