Why do a lot of TV shows go with such extreme widescreen when nobody’s TV is actually shaped like that. Just watching foundation now and it looks great except for like 40% of my screen being taken up by black bars at the top and bottom. For movies I can understand it works in the cinema but at home? Who actually has a TV with a like 2:1 widescreen shape?
