Safe glue to use on sliding mirror I just bought a Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 from a Japanese seller and overall, I'm very happy, but the mirror was slamming into my 2.8 28mm Distagon Zeiss lens. I used a heat gun set to ~200° to goo up the glue again and pushed the mirror up to where it was flush. It appeared to be fixed, but I noticed after a few shutters it was starting to slid...
